About Me
Christopher J. Williams is the President of Branchpoint Energy Support & Technology, LLC, a rapidly growing energy services startup positioned to redefine operational excellence and compliance support across the energy infrastructure sector. Appointed to lead Branchpoint in April 2025 based on his proven industry experience, Chris brings over 25 years of leadership across environmental, health & safety (EHS), regulatory compliance, field operations, and asset integrity
Prior to joining Branchpoint, Chris served as Vice President of EHS and Support Services at Ironwood Midstream Energy Partners, where he also directed the company’s maintenance and integrity programs. His leadership has consistently bridged the gap between field execution and regulatory expectations, supported by extensive training and experience with PHMSA regulations, including 49 CFR Parts 192 and 195. His deep understanding of federal pipeline safety standards underpins his reputation as a trusted advisor in regulatory strategy and risk management
At Branchpoint, Chris is focused on building a nimble, client-focused organization that excels in areas where larger firms often fall short. Branchpoint provides third-party operations for transmission pipelines, distribution pipelines, and related facilities, as well as fully outsourced
control room services, project execution, regulatory consulting, and custom PSM/PSMS software platforms. Every solution is tailored to meet each client’s unique operational and compliance needs, with a focus on speed, accuracy, and long-term value.
Chris holds a Master of Business Administration and is known for leading teams with integrity, technical rigor, and an unwavering focus on safety and reliability. His leadership at Branchpoint reflects his commitment to raising the standard of service and accountability in the energy sector.
Outside of work, Chris enjoys spending time outdoors with his family—whether it’s hunting, fishing, or making memories on family vacations.
